What is METALON?
METALON is an antifriction product whose main
ingredient is Teflon.
METALON is not additive for oil. It adheres to all microporosities
of the
metals, giving the surfaces exposed to friction a treatment, preventing
them and
getting as result longer useful life of your equipments. Is resistant
to
temperatures up to 700°F (370°C), and the only thing that
can remove it is the
abrasion caused by oil contaminated by carbon, dust, metalline debries,
etc., as
well as for higher temperatures
How it works?
METALON works everywhere is friction, that produces,
by which
it adheres to the metal, forming a lubricant film that remains
for an indefinite period of time.
What is its use?
METALON is used to lubricate by oil to any type
of equipment lubricated by oil
or grase, any type of internal combustion engine, as of gasoline,
diesel or gas, as
well as any component of industrial machinery: transmissions, differentials,
reduction housings of any type or size, hydraulic systems, as well
as bearing
grease for industrial type equipments, construction, agriculture,
marines, etc.,
with very attractive benefits.
How is it applied?
METALON is very easy and simple to apply, because
of its proper
presentations, duly bottled for any engine or component. The base
material is
dosed and dissolved in lubricant oils as mean, to be added to the
engine or
component. We supply presentations with the proper dose of METALON
for
every oil capacity of the system, according to your needs.
With what frecuency has to be applied?
METALON, once applied, is recommended to use in the following way:
construction, mining, agricultural engines, every 2,500 hours of service:
marine engines every 3,000 hours; automotive engines, every 25,000
miles
(40,000 kilometers); components of industrial equipments, every 4,000
hours.
